Standing Sweep

I am sorry to say that I no longer make this clock, or any of the others on my site.  After 48 years in the business, I am at an age point that some of the physical demands  eg. running larger mouldings on the shaper  are crossing the threshold of danger and injury. I love what I do...but it’s time. After successfully completing a Limited Edition of their Fabulous 72 inch Wall model, I have decided to introduce The Standing #1 Bank Sweep Second. This is truly a site to behold. These were made to order as a request only version of their 6’ wall model with only four examples known to exist. The #1 Bank Sweep Second was the top of their line of Calendar Clocks and as such is HIGHLY sought after. They began production of the “Wall” model in December 1875 and continued through 1900.
The case, featuring unique serpentine side construction, stands 85 inches with 12 inch dials. It is Highly Hand Carved with Scalloped Finials as well as a Floral Medallion and either Fluted or Ribbed Columns in the base. Only one original clock has ever come to market, selling in 2009 for $ 84,000. Very reasonably priced considering the amount of work, I offer this clock in either Walnut or Central American Mahogany.
